Kill Team will kill my bank account…
The problem I have with Warhammer at the moment is that I like the aesthetic and play styles of every army they make in 40K. If I wanted to play and paint with each one, it would require a 2nd mortgage (or 12) on my home. The bright side is, they have this new “Kill Team” rule set. It allows you to play 40K with nothing more than a box or two of models and the codex. That puts the cost of a new army at about $100 as opposed to $500+, depending on the composition.
I still predict this ending poorly for my money. As a friend of mine once told me: I’m probably one of the few people in the world that would actually benefit financially from a heroin addiction.
